Gents are there a Gym with more privet shower facilities?

I can not be the only guy that thinks this is wrong.

I was seeing a girl who wanted me to work out more and I said I would but then I got to run home to shower. She said why. I said I detest showering with other guys around me I think it is indecent,gross,gay and uncomfortable. I said to her, how does she like showering with other girls around? She claimed that the showers in the girls change room were privet and divided. I said what the F**k why are the guys changing room wide open. I would rather take a shit with out a stall around me then shower with out one! I mean that stall for the toilet does block the smell! Its only there for privacy .I also added never mind the showers why do some guys feel its ok to shave naked pressed up against the sink counters? It’s f**king gross

I suggest that you use yellowpages.ca for your search. Alternatively, you can use ihrsa.org to find health clubs in your area.

Visit each of the gyms that comes up. They will usually give you a tour of the facility because they want to sell you a membership. When you tour the men's locker room, you can judge for yourself how much privacy you get in the shower.

Etobicoke area. Every gym seems to be the same every were . I even state the showers are not divided ?? They claim non are and try to force a membership on you even though you stated the reason you will not join

My guess is that you've never spent time in the Armed Forces.

Once you have enjoyed the comfortable and very private facilities they provide you will find that everything else is luxury by comparison.

I wasn't in the Forces, but I played hockey up until 5 years ago. Some of those hockey rink showers were nasty!

Those who had a problem with open showers, sat by themselves at the bar.

Are you hung like a gerbil? (Sorry, had to ask.) As muffin muncher stated, we males typically size up the competition. Now, seeing a guy with a hard on walking around in the locker room, that's always funny.

Who cares. The rules of communal showers are the same as urinals. Keep as far apart as possible.

I wish they had co-ed showers, kind of like this scene from Starship troopers. Man, I'd be at the gym every day....

The North York YMCA club membership area has a couple of private showers stalls at the end. You still have to walk by some naked guys to get to it but it is a option.

ers on 1 side and on the other side theres a small wall dividing each showers. I just dont like takin showers there cuz the changing area is just too crowded, some days i walk in and you cant even find an empty locker.
Just feels more relaxing when taking it at home.

Or you can find a gym close to home. Then, just go home to take a shower.

The Good Life I go to has individual shower stalls separated by curtains. If one Good Life has it, maybe they all do.

I don't normally shower at the gym either. It's not so much a comfort level as it is that I don't want to have to cart all that extra stuff (shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, deodorant, etc.) to the gym. I'd rather just shower at home. It can be a pain in the winter though. I also find gym change rooms to be rather humid and I don't like sweating once I've already showered and changed.

Oh yeah, there's also the psychological effect of thinking that I can do my workout in an hour, since I don't have to shower at the gym (yeah, I still have to shower at home but that's not part of the workout ).

I thought some one would say that but it is not the case in fact not my self but the other guy I knew who doesn't like the open showed turns out to be freakishly large and perfuse privacy. but i guess jirk likes to show his off to other guys

The Plaza Club in downtown Toronto has private stalls in the men's showers. I don't understand why that isn't de rigeur in other gyms.
