Nice, thanks for all that info appreciate it and will try to keep it in mind for future attempts at guesses@tpAleks : There are probably hundreds of unanswered questions in the three active trivia threads, (General TV Trivia, New Sports Trivia and Trivia-o-Rama). Depending on who asks the question, there are different rules and/or protocols. The majority of the questions are posted by me or by @unassuming , but anyone can post.
Re: unassuming's questions: They are always 'field' questions, ie: all players act as a team to answer. Correct answers are acknowledged, but individual scores are not recorded. unassuming generally provides the correct answer after 24 hours, if no one else does.
My questions: They are all individual competitions, and totals of correct answers by each player matter. I always give a minimum of two weeks before posting the correct answer when no one else does, except for the Danny Hutton question in General TV Trivia, where I posted the Stump a day or two prematurely.
My questions are worded VERY specifically. If I ask for multiple pieces of information, and you don't know all of them, providing part of the answer gets no points, but it may assist other players.
Post which don't quote a question post are considered to be banter, and they often are not acknowledged.
In General TV Trivia, players cannot answer one of MY questions a second time, after receiving a Red reply. This rule does not apply in New Sports Trivia, nor in Trivia-o-Rama.
Scoring: Each player gets two points for a correct answer to one of MY questions. For 'Name as many as you can' questions, that's two points for each named correctly. There are no deductions for incorrect answers.
I get one point for every Stump question that no one answered correctly after two weeks, but only if I claim the Stump point by updating the original question post, AND I post the correct answer in a reply to my own post. I also get one point for every Nope and Too Slow reply, for incorrect answers, and for answering a question correctly which was already answered correctly by someone else.
Some questions will go unanswered forever, because I can't remember the correct answer. No one gets points on those.
Every so often I browse through the back pages and claim some Stump points, usually in a batch. I claim my Nope and Too Slow points almost immediately.
The stated purpose of all of the Trivia threads is to generate maximum page views. You are invited to browse through the three threads, and perhaps gain a few points, and gain some new trivial knowledge in the process. Based on the chronological order of posts, you anyone can play the entire games as an amateur, to see how many questions they could have answered correctly, if they had seen them first.
Many of the questions I post are VERY difficult, because we have several excellent trivia experts on this board, and trying to stump ALL of them for two weeks is difficult. Some of the questions are not too difficult, so that there is an incentive to open the thread immediately whenever it's at or near the top of page one.
Related thread: Name the Movie! (link) - there might or might not be a fifth round, eventually. Rounds 1-4 are complete. In this thread, I post a batch of about 100 questions whenever I have that many screen caps.
For every player who actually participates in these threads, there are probably ten spectators eating popcorn.

What's the name of the song Speedy Gonzalez sings twice in Cats and Bruises ?
The same tune with different lyrics in English is ' The Frito Bandito Song '.
Dressed all over & Zesty MordantOn Trailer Park Boys, what were Ricky's two favorite flavours of potato chips?*
The correct answer is exactly five words plus the '&' symbol, because it's also the title of one of the episodes. No leniency will be given for nearly correct answers.
