How much garlic do you eat? Would you eat it several times in one day? Or just once in a few days? Please share.

It depends on what meal I am having and what is called for in the recipe. But I do buy the good quality garlic. The stuff from China has no taste.

Is it too much to eat garlic bread and a really garlicky ceasar salad at the same meal?
When I was much younger I used to take the TTC to work and there was always this Italian woman on the bus who absolutely reeked of garlic. I mean it was really overkill to the point that it nauseated me. I don't want to smell like that.

It can reduce high cholesterol.

It is one powerful weapon to repel vampires and Dracula.

It makes the odor of otherwise smelly fart almost irresistable.

What's wrong with Chinese garlic? Does it really matter where the garlic come from?
yup...once you have tried my home grown garlic, organically grown with aged horse and sheep manure as fertilizer, you would never again touch the crap they sell in stores. Build an 18" high box out of cedar 4'x4', fill with quality soil and you can readily grow about 55 bulbs which easily lasts a year with a few giveaways for friends and family

Wow! Interesting, but I know that anything home grown is always better than what you buy in the store.

I am not a big fan of garlic, but I do cook with it sometimes. I fry a clove or two and put it in spaghetti sauce. I also use garlic powder, which is dried ground garlic cloves. You can get a large jar at Costco for cheap. You can mix it into mashed potatoes or sprinkle it on corn on the cob. It does not stink as much as fresh garlic, but it taste great. Great for making garlic bread too, just sprinkle on buttered bread, parsley optional. If you are trying to cut down on salt, garlic powder is a good alternative.

I mince fresh garlic ultra fine and mix it with softened butter to make real garlic bread!
I also mince it very fine to put in my meatballs and also saute it when I make a big pot of my homemade pasta sauce. I do really enjoy it. Garlic adds so much flavor. Try a roasted leg of lamb with garlic inserted inside and rubbed with olive oil and herbs. Nothing more delicious.
