With the release of the iPhone5 it looks like what I said in the opening post has come true as expected..
Samsung still has the better screen resolution, better storage and is just about equal in everything else.

The guts of the S3 just can't be dismissed. While I'm sure the new iPhone will be aesthetically nice, it's performance isn't anything over the top and it was just hyped up. Perhaps the next gen will be something incredible, but this to me wasn't anything overly exciting at all. If only Apple had expandable memory and gave a little bit more control to the end user........The quality of a iphone 5 is far superior than the s3. You can't compare aluminum to cheap plastic.

as much as i agree with your statement in principle, i'll add that some apple fanbois LIKE the sandbox approach. personally, if i have a risky email or site to open, i use my ipod. i feel safe.Apple fanbois are very docile types and perfectly content in letting Apple tell and decide what's best for them....:eyebrows:
