Well. . . . "FREEDOM" fries have now reverted back to good old french fries in Washington D.C.. After the hysterical goings on when the US invaded Iraq and France took a stand saying it was a stupid move - good 'ole french fries are back. OMG Americans can be idiotic sometimes

I think it was a media myth.

Never heard anyone call them freedom fries, other than news reports on the media. And even they were few and far between.

yeah that was pretty dumb. Just as dumb as those the middle-east countries renaming the "danish" pastry as "rose of sharon" because of some cartoons.
