Free advice to McGuinty on the Elliot Lake situation

If any TERB Liberals have access to McGuinty's handlers, here's some free advice you can share on how to deal with the Elliot Lake situation:

Announce a public inquiry.

And announce it quickly (it doesn't have to happen quickly, but the announcement of a public inquiry should be made ASAP).

Never mind this "full review" silliness. The commitment must be to a public inquiry. The last thing you want is to be dragged by the opposition into announcing a public inquiry, creating the impression you're trying to hide something.

A coroner's inquest will already happen and can be expanded to cover any inquiry needed. We don't need the expense of a full blown public inquiry that will waste millions upon millions and provide exactly the same answers.

Wrote what I wrote on the other thread. This whole situation is shocking, this is the sort of situation where you get on the phone and start requesting help and giving orders.
