Hey,

OK, so a heads up to whomever takes the time to read this.

I'm certainly no expert in this field and as a newcomer to this whole scene I am awfully wary of anything that has to do with law enforcement regarding massage parlours. I do not know the laws around this subject (if anyone knows where I could read up on them please let me know or fill me in yourself) so I'm pretty paranoid when it comes down to it - perhaps this post is just that - paranoia. But...

A while ago I was at Exxxotica in Cambridge and I was chatting with one of the attendants. We were having a good conversation until she asked me if I was a cop. This seemed odd to me and so I asked her why she'd come right out and ask me that. Did they ever have a reason to be worried about the police etc. etc.? She said she wasn't particularly worried herself but that they had had numerous run-ins with the law. I pursued the topic and she said that it wasn't unusual for undercovers to come in, though obviously they were limited to what they could observe/engage in. She also said that it was becoming a regular occurrence for a marked police car to just sit right out in front of the building for hours at a time (usually on a sunday, so heads up). Perhaps most disconcerting was her admission that they were starting to believe that an often seen green van was an undercover vehicle. I've seen that van. She said that it was usually there late at night, and I quote "...it just seems weird..."

So, perhaps this is all her way of making everything seem more exciting to me but it had the opposite affect. I don't see why she'd lie, either. It sure doesn't help business to say things like that. And if it crosses anybody's mind, I'm not saying this to hurt Exxxotica's business. You can see from many of my other posts that I was and am a big fan of the girls at Exxxotica. I'm just a little freaked out about this all. If they were inclined, would it be legal for the police to photograph customers as they go in and out? I'm a student and I sure as hell don't need something like that hanging over my head at this age if it ever came down to it.

Does anyone have any information that could give those of us who aren't in the loop as far as MP laws go, a little peace of mind?

Thanks,

Anti

The last I checked, it wasn't illegal to go in for a massage!
