Only 29 signatures. I guess nobody wants Liambas back in the OHL. Dave Branch isn't going to change his decision. These people are wasting their time.

When I posted it there was only 19. 10 signatures in 25 minutes.

Those people are still wasting their time signing it. Dave Branch never reverses a decision. The kid is done.

online petitions are USELESS as no one takes them seriously. Instead write to the governing body of the league and explain why you think they made a mistake.

I doubt the president of the CHL would be willing to overturn the ruling.

Why overrule it?
He's a 20 year old who cheapshot a 16 year old.
Ban him forever.
His "petition" will probably get to a couple hundred - family, friends, and fans and then zip.

OHL Player ages.

Here"s a question I'm sure will get interesting results.
Should kids under 18 be IN the OHL?
Every Minor Hockey League has a Division for every age group ie: TYKE NOVICE ATOM PEE WEE BANTAM MIDGET some have JUVENILE but once you get past Midget into the Jr. levels it seems age difference goes out the window.
He was a 20 year old MAN hitting a 16 year old KID and I read he had 30 plus pounds on him. Would you let a Midget play in a PEE WEE game ?same age difference and size.!

Why not make the OHL,WHL,QMHL ages 18-20 thus allowing the players to mature build/bulk up etc BEFORE hitting the OHL. There are excellent Jr. "A" and below programs in Ontario to develop players.We all know only a certain number make it to the OHL and beyond. This kids hockey life might be over now because of his injuries. Maybe both their careers.
