Formula One Race Montreal June 8

Anyone going? I have been to Montreal a couple times before but this is my first F1 race. Will be there thurs til monday. Any suggestions or recommendations? Must see? Thanks

I am going, though I did not intend to. I bought tickets for an MMA event in Montreal on the 7th, then discovered to my horror that it was GP weekend, and I could not get a hotel, etc. I decided to get GP tickets for Saturday, so I will go and check it out, since I am there when it is on. I used to be a big F1 fan many years ago, but have never attended in person. There is a good thread on https://merb.cc about it.

Be sure to get some ear plugs. It it very loud.

Definitely. It's nice to hear the raw horse power for a bit but after an hour or so, kind of tiring.

Nothing like hearing a Ferrari run through the gears.

it's definitely something u have to hear in person at least once.

there's broads selling stuff around the track, bud girls and so on, but more of them wouldn't hurt. at the F1 race in hungary they have sp's working in case ur bored of the race!

I am looking forward to that!!! I have been to a Super Bowl and World Series. It's just something I want to see hear in person. Would I do it every year? No way. It's crowded and expensive and I can get a much better view from my TV!!! But I do want the experience. I will be there thursday.

You will enjoy the electric atmosphere of the event. It is quite different and many of the women are hot. Have a great time.

That's the main reason!!! I will record it and watch the race on TV when I return!!

Anyone know what goes on at the Bridgestone Open House? They give times but nothing about what is going on.
