Formatting Question

so my computer has herpes again and i want to format, but i dont want to lose my internet exploder favorites(bookmarks), what file(s) do i need to backup in order to save them?

export them to another hard drive / floppy, CD or DVD

You want to save your Favourites file.
Open up Windows Explorer
Click on My Computer > Local Disk (C > Documents and Settings
There should be a folder named the same as your login name. Click on it, and in there you'll see Favorites (it's a Star)

Save that to the media of your choice

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Files and Settings Transfer Wizard
