My vote is for Nasib's on Lawerence between Pharmacy and Warden. Not quite as good as the original on Kennedy but 100% better then any of the Aida's franchises. You need a 2 litre of coke to wash those sawdust falafals down.

My vote goes to a place in Ottawa on Bank St. If I remember correctly it was called Shawarma King.

FARRAT.

Warden/Lawrence on the corner of the plaza on the north side. These guys have lines of waiting customers that go out the front door at times.

For that area, I second that. Sababa is a hidden gem, inside a strip mall on the north side of Steeles. Their humus is rather good.

What is actually in a Falafel? I'm 45 and still haven't tried one. I like hummous and baba ganoush and think that I may like. Sorry about the spelling.

There are a dozen restaurants lining the entrance to the cinemas.
I don't remember the name of the place - it's on the Southwest corner.
Very good chicken shawarmas - Large !
(do not go to the overpriced Vietnamese restaurant. I have yet to find a decent Vietnamese place)

Dundas/Roncesvilles they have excellent falafel. They use a pickled turnip that they put in the wraps,it sounds not so good but it is delicious.
