in 2019 Mayor John Tory wrote 1 billion would be cut in public health care Now correct me if im wrong didn't Trudeau give Ford over 7.2 billion for healthcare and Ford chose to put it all for this stupid ridiculous fuckin highway this highway is nothing but a facade to build all around it and let his developer friends send the rents so fuckin high to the sky that very sooner than later there's going to be elite rich and poor he will wipe out middle class .....theres not enough nurses we got doctors now acting as nurses emergency departments are on the verge of shutting down Ontario is in the biggest mess its ever been in all because he put all his eggs in this highway basket and other crap that the fundamental things that are needed for SURVIVAL are being demolished and people are dying .

. failing as a leader with the disabled they AreDISABLED does FORD know what that means ? they have handicaps they were born that way or became that way its not there fault they can't perform like the average Joe. Why is he making people that are physically or mentally challenged on the verge of being defenceless and on the streets of Ontario. is he trying to kill the disabled ? they haven't had an increase since Ford took office y my cousin says it was 1.5 % cut since Ford took office pandemic and higher than hell inflation. Do you have ANY IDEA how many people are going to go HOMELESS THOUSANDS S AND THOUSANDS HES MAKING ONTARIO AN AMERICAN SHITHOLE. soon they'll be lined up for food stamps soon they'll be forced to work not able to do the job and soon he will destroy all living beings that our also gods children to not be alive. all because he is a fuckin jackass. I hear about people dying daily on the streets you have no clue how bad it really is out there it's a fuckin crisis for the disabled .education they can't even fix schools or add teachers because Ford spent more time on the streets then he did in class so therefore education is not important to him.Affordable housing is in a crisis it needs to be dug up from the roots of the plan in order to start making progress Climate Change well that doesn't exist in his vocabulary

COVID-19 will not disappear by the end of July, and neither should paid sick daysThe reason people are dying from COVID is because they can't afford not to work and they are spreading covid it took millions of people to speak up against Ford for paid sick days ids it up his sleeve again to cut us off of proper healthcare.

Im starting to think that this is his plan to screw up healthcare in Ontario so he has an excuse to privatize more healthcare but mark my words we do NOT WANT TO BE THE AMERICA .......LAST I CHECKED PEOPLE ARE DENIED THE RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE.

As much as I am more liberal than conservative I totally agree with you Trudeau misdoing nothing for the disabled he left them in the dark during the pandemic hes making it easier for the rich to buy houses and not the average Joe. and he does care about climate change but how can he sit back and allow Doug Ford to destroy Ontario.

Our supposedly wonderful "free" healthcare system has been mortally wounded, dysfunctional, and circling the drain for years. Covid merely flushed it all the way down.

There is no fix within the current model for the problem, which is best framed as - "there ain't enough money in the entire economy to offer the services people believe they are entitled to". Since health care and education already soak up most of the provincial budget, there's no money to siphon from elsewhere.

The only rational solution is to let the wealthy pay what they would be prepared to pay for prompt medical treatment in order to reduce the load on the public system. The best nurses would be then be employed by private clinics and would make the money they are currently asking from the public system.

Most people would receive mediocre but competent care in a much more timely way under the public system.

A two tiered system just means the big donors would fund politicians that would cut the publicly funded side since they don't need it or want it.
Which is why it'll never pass here, everyone knows what would happen.

We are in a staff shortage. There is so much available work right now and business just can’t hire.

Let private, totally private health care providers, build their own total and complete healthcare system from scratch, property, bricks and mortar, technology, human resources .... with no piggybacking onto the public healthcare at all, nor corporate welfare from the public purse ala the nursing home system.

Emergency? > go to your neighborhood private healthcare provider hospital via your own private EMS service with your very own private police service escort on your very own private roads, not the publicly funded ones.

Bring it!

They will, sort of. They'll lease space for their private clinics. Many already do for the limited services that are already outside of OHIP. All part of the overhead that gets charged out to their private patients. Happy?

If you are speaking as the personification of the public at large, you have a strangely combative attitude about your entitlement to healthcare, considering you can't afford to pay the bill. Do you regard medical professionals as your slaves?

I can't imagine that doctors would be attracted to opening clinics for emergency medical procedures. Who wants to work nights? No, emergency medicine would likely stay in the public system, but won't it be nice that there might actually be a bed and a room to put incoming patients in, rather than a hallway?

And I do believe that private clinic patients would remain entitled to use the roads in order to arrive at their clinical appointments, being taxpayers and all.

Nonsense. Of course we can afford to provide adequate health care for all Canadians, especially the disadvantaged. We are a rich country.

If the rich want to get VIP treatment, they can go to USA or London, Paris or Johannesburg. Do you think rich people wait a year for an MRI? I recently went to Buffalo for an MRI, wait time one week.

I believe the Ontario government is creating the problem, because it wants to privatize the diagnostic centers.

You know... if you could just make your demands of Doug Ford whilst giving him a sloppy blowjob you may just succeed. Add some cocaine to his coffee for good measure and remind him on the good ole days! 😉
