got in at 5.12 and its been going up steadily for the last month...should I take profit or is this a good long position?
I agree with you about the good paying jobs, but Chrysler hasn't been a German company in a while now.pjoe43 said:Ford and GM are real crapshoots now. The US auto companies are in a depression right now. They can't compete against the Japs and China is ready to ship in even cheaper cars that has Japan worried. Chrysler is out of the picture now since becoming a German company.
It is real sad how badly the US auto industry has fallen. Our economy suffers greatly from all those good paying jobs being lost.
If I am not mistaken, Diamler Benz or whatever it is called now, still owns a 20% stake in ChryslerMeister said:I agree with you about the good paying jobs, but Chrysler hasn't been a German company in a while now.
It's funny though that it's always the American Auto Manufacturers that outperform any other worldly car companies. They tend to be very good at bouncing back and thus, buy when they are beat up... I've done this with Ford (perhaps the least reliable vehicle of the bunch) on and off since my dad showed me when I was a young kid. In-and-Out-- just like sex.pjoe43 said:Ford and GM are real crapshoots now. The US auto companies are in a depression right now.
