Well, I have been reading the following thread:

and was intrigued about the girl behind the plea for a place to flirt with the men without the big bad mods being upset. So as per Sheik`s direct comments, I`ve initiated this thread to discuss her and invite her and others to reply and add to it and so on. I figured it goes in the Lounge because it`s not a review and merely frank discussion.

Now I`ve never met her myself but I did just vote in her poll:

so hopefully she comes to Hammertown (although the results are not leaning that way right now). She`s one of those girls I`ve always wanted to see but never get around to because of time and distance not lining up but a tour stop in Hamilton would help sort that mess out in short order.

Molly does have a point. I agree with making the advertisers section non postable but the reparte` among the providers and the guys was often quite amusing and flirtacious.

Agreed, there are those numbnuts who start tossing flames for no good reason.

womdering if there is a comprimise section where the ladies can post and get feedback, but have it modereated by one of the senior members here to avoid the flaming?

In a perfect world that suggestion would work but maybe there is a germ of an idea that can be developed.

I look at it this way: so long as a male member creates a thread in the Lounge, technically it allows the girl in question to discuss herself outside the advertisers section because we have initiated it. At least that's what I get from Sheik's postings on the matter (of course maybe that'll change in the next little while, so who knows?). If that is true, then this isn't quite so bad as there will alway be someone willing to start such a thread at the behest of some lady. Besides, if such threads are in the Lounge then they will already be patrolled by whomever is already watching it.

Now that would be an idea. With all the obscure indy rock bands out there these days, you could easily get away with a few tour dates on it and then wear it in public if it was done right.
