I never wanted to do incalls -- they're not legal, and they're not as secure as you often don't know who you're opening your door to. Also, once you give someone your address, who knows when they might show up? When we did outcalls exclusively, at least we had something -- an address -- to tie back to people we saw. In recent years, a number of escorts have been killed in Ontario, and police often have little to go on since these guys generally try to come and go anonymously. No disincentive there!
But that said, from another standpoint, I've come to very much prefer incall. I like having control over the cleanliness of the situation. When I did outcall, it wasn't always to finer hotels. Often it was to people's homes -- and although in general these were clean upper middle class homes, the fact is that I was still working on sheets that had seen some mileaage and being handed towels wet from someone else's shower earlier in the day when I went to clean up.
At least, with my own place, I can control the cleanliness. I can make sure that we only lie down on freshly laundered sheets, and that towels are fresh and clean.
It's a trade-off, for sure. And for sure, it costs me a BUNDLE to have to keep accommodations for clients. Is it worth it? .... In some ways, I think it is. In others, not.
