Seriously, I know what you mean and I would never show my I.D.. Hard to be discreet and not attract attention to yourself in this hobby if your flashing your I.D. around. If I was asked, that would be the end of the visit - incall, outcall, or otherwise.

I remember being shocked at the willingness of a waitress at HOL to show me her drivers license just befcause I cimplimented her youthful good looks by asking "are you sure you're old enough to be serving booze?" Instead of a blush or a laugh I got to see her drivers license and birth certificate.

Not only is the poll worded poorly, kinda like the Quebec Referendum, but using the term SP makes it too general.

I am against showing id to an escort. However providing a phone number listed in my name is a reasonable request for an outcall to a residence.

For a MP, it is a business and the local bylaw may require that all customers provide identification. In that case you would have no choice.

In a SC all you get to see is the cash in my pocket which seems to work.

Christ it is not like she would be asking you to whip it out on the corner of Bay and King and then flip it under a projector to be displayed on the roof of the skydome or anything.

Just because you haven't shown your ID doesn't mean anything. Now that I am retired there are hundreds of guys I could blackmail and I never once asked for ID...... But seriously I have much better things to do with my time, as do most other SP's

If asked in a polite manner

I will comply with the wishes to see my id. Likely I will ask why, and if the answer is reasonable then I will. Generally, I don't flash my drivers license unless asked by a cop. But I have been known to give my business card out to verify my identiity, not fool proof, but useful.

Imagine, if you would, a quick glance at any form of id is just to put a name to the face, for many reasons its a good idea. Security being one of them. I don't think its unreasonable to be safe.

If you are worried about showing your ID, you are going out with the wrong women....

I wouldn't want the SP to know too much about my personal life. I would provide my real name, and my phone number would be visible on her call display and if I called from my home she would even see my last name. But I wouldn't want her to know everything, and I wouldn't invade her privacy either.

I wouldn't show my ID and it has nothing to do with the type of women they are. Actually it has everything to do with this business. What does my ID have to do with anything. Sure she saw my ID. Will that stop me from killing her if I was a twisted fuck? She will most likely want it in case she gets ripped off. So how come we don't get to see a sp's ID? What happens if we get ripped off.

This whole business is taking a major turn in the modern days. Many turns and changes are definitely positive. However, the major negative to the industry now is that for some reason, it seems the SP's are the clients. We pay to cater to them. Am I the only one who feels like this at times? While what I'm saying doesn't apply to every sp, it certainly applies to many.

I had a recent rather amusing experience ........

The only time I came close to showing an ID to an SP was after a particularly energetic session with one of the fantastic visiting French gals from Montreal. After we were finished (me totally exhausted) we somehow got to talking about ages. She admitted that she was 7 years older than listed on the web site so I told how old I really was and she simply did not believe me. Just could not persuade her so I started to get my drivers license out intending to show her the number (which contains the year of birth) whilst covering up the rest. At this point she conceded. And I left with a big ego boost
