Engineering mascot

I don't know if this has changed in recent years. I suspect it may have since the pressures of political correctness are everywhere.

However, at one time, the mascot of the UW engineering programme was "the Ridgid Tool".

Back when the earth was cooling, as a UoW Engineering Student , I remember (well, through an alcoholic haze, anyway) being chained to the Ridgid Tool to serve as muscle in the event rival 'Boat Race' teams attempted to make off with it. Yikes! I'm a lover, not a fighter!
