If a player wants to leave you can't stop them, Jordyn can help the NWSL to grow. Her relationship with Fonzie is over, can't blame the girl for wanting distance.
I was surprised that Ashley Lawrence didn't win Female Footballer of the Year. Without her Canada does not win the Gold Medal in Tokyo. PSG will do whatever they can to keep her.

The relationship was good for the both of them, it reached it's "best before" phase, time to move on. Once they established themselves, they no longer needed each other for support.
Huitama is, as a striker, at a point in her career that she must play. Better to get all the start in a lower league team then starting one of every 5 games in a top league team. That said some nWSL team would most probably beat some European team.
Huitama can return to Europe once she's 28-30 year old and a strong established striker.
She had to do the move to also secure her spot on the national team. I watched the u20 qualifying earlier this year and great players will knock on the door.

Janine Beckie has also joined the NWSL from Manchester City to Portland Thorns FC. Did some background reading, it was under the umbrella of the US Soccer Federation from it's inception in 2012 until 2020. Since then it's become an independent league. Christine Sinclair has been part of it from the beginning, she and Beckie are team-mates.
