For what it's worth, the best team won. Now, if only we can steal Hitch and get him to coach the Leafs next season.

How come I never see anyone cheering on the Montreal Canadiens? Everyone knows they are the only Canadian team that has a chance of winning this year!

Ripper if it makes you feel any better, I hate the Flyers but I don't hate you personally. Anyone who resorts to threatening PM's should be banned.
Sad that anyone is so narrowminded of someone else's team preference that they would resort to this, Ripper.

This is a Canadian board and alot of Toronto fans are in here,maybe it would have been wiser for me not to have put a flyer support thread in here.If the Flyers would have lost i would have been dissapointed,but not angry.It was a very hard hitting series and the Leafs had several injuries.I was having fun but some might have taken it as an in your face type of thing.I wont continue it because Ottowa is another Canadian team,and some would be upset,plus no one in here even likes the Flyers.Thanks for some nice comments. I usually tend to cheer for the team that beats out my beloved Leafs although we do have 2 other Canadian teams left but the Flyers are now one of my favs!

Ripper, you can support your team all you want (God knows, Goober does ;-)). Doesn't mean we hate you, or wish you to go away. Personally, I especially have problems seeing any redeeming qualities of the flyers. This is visceral, not logical. Objectively I know they have a talented, well-choreographed squad. But ever since the goon squad lead by Bobby Clarke, Kenny Linsman, Paul Holmgren, Reggie Leach and all those other cheap-shot players, I have abhorred the flyers. Sorry, but that's how I feel. Please don't hold it against me.
