I suspect so

such a device is used by physiotherapists to contract muscles electrically and is now being pawned as a way to strengthen muscles as you watch TV

This was never the original intention

cheap enough but I am more worried about wasting my time more than my money

I believe it may be a scam because it is a device used by therapists - TENS machine- for injuries and muscle building was never its original intent

but

all the reviews on youtube seem to be positive

but

they are non scientific

flexbelt claims to have had scientific studies done

but

such studies can be fudged IE you pay for the studies so you get the results you pay for

athletes endorse it

but

they can be bought


my first and second thought is scam

they promise full refund

but

you pay shipping fees both ways so it is not free and most people will keep the product rather than the cost and effort of shipping back and flexbelt knows this



also, they say to do exercises as well as use the machine, so how do you know it is not the exercise that is producing the results


ALSO YOU NEED TO SPEND $20 ON GEL PACKS EVERY MONTH

also

they claim it is safe like wtf !! HOW CAN They CLAIM THAT! - it is not natural to send electricity into your muscles - you need short and long term studies to prove safety


huge caveat emptor when it comes to exercise equipment
