Five people have been arrested following a robbery investigation in Middlesex Centre, Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a business located at 22949 Highbury Avenue North in Bryanston at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Sunday after a robbery was reported. Upon arrival, police located five suspects at the scene and arrested them without incident.

The accused — all from Scarborough — range in age from 29 to 45 years old and share the same last name, according to police. Each individual has been charged with robbery with theft and mischief under $5,000.

All five have since been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in London on February 26, 2026, to answer to the charges.

I will put it this way: I agree that if they are PRs and are convicted, they should be thrown out. But, I will also say, it is not like they are the only criminals in Canada. There are thousands of white, asian and african/caribbean folks across the country and province that steal, deal, murder or extort.

Consequences of letting every dalit on the subcontinent into the country no questions asked. Your point about 'muh Canadian criminals' is a complete non sequitur. The difference is home grown criminals are something we have to deal with regardless. The imported ones are self inflicted wounds on society that never should have been allowed in to begin with. The fact that judges are very commonly giving these immigrant criminals lenient sentences so they can avoid deportation is rubbing salt in the wounds

I would say deport those who are not law abiding immigrants. non law abiding citizens go to jail.

Do you know for a fact that all those people are foreign-born? Did you know immigrants commit fewer crimes than Canadian born people? Or, is this all about the fact you hate brown people. I would point out that there have been Indian immigrants in large numbers since the 1970s, about 50 years or more.

It should also be pointed out that just because they were arrested does not mean they are guilty. We still follow the innocent until proven stuff, regardless of what their last name is. And, not all crimes are of the level where deportation is mandatory. Should it be? I can see the argument for that, but at the same time, it could be used heavy handedly (though I suspect you'd be fine with that...).
