I was 4 years old and I took a plane to see my dad. I landed in the Miami airport and all I can remember was the amazing palm trees and everyone speaking Spanish.

What about you ?

First time on a plane i was 18! Landed in Paris with a group of competitive alpine skier. While others went visit museum me and a friend ended up on st-denis street visiting prostitutes ;) We were with the manager of our group who paid us beer at a terrace while he went screwing haha I realized only years later what he had done. Took me 23 more years to see my first one.

Was in third year in uni. About mid march I flew from Ottawa to St Petes to visit my parents at their winter trailer park. Took the bus from school, so no airport parking bills.
I had sent summer things down with them in a suitcase I packed when they were home for Christmas.
I left Ottawa with my school leather jacket, jeans, and my school back pack with a few novels to relax to, and a return ticket for coming back in a week.

I was asked a zillion questions by US border services, and in st petes had to point out my parents though the arrival glass. Border agents questioned them separately since otherwise I had a full profile of being a drug mule.

8 years old. Here in Toronto (Moving). On WardAir. It was a morning flight so the stewardess fed the kids Mimosas.

Sigh the good ol days when you could get away with shit like that.

First time was in 1977( 14 years old) on a Wardair 747 to England. Landed at Gatwick. Went with my Mon to visit her cousin.
On the way home there was an air traffic controllers strike in the USA and for some reason our flight was delayed for about 10 hours.

First time was 1975. Took the plane to Vancouver to visit my sister on Vancouver Island. Took the train (the Canadian, it was called) back from Vancouver to Toronto. Slept in an upper bunk. I was 18.

I read this and my twisted (but healthy) mind took me WAY OFF on a tangent here!

When I saw the title of this post I completely misinterpreted it and thought that “first time on a plane” meant the first time you had sex on a plane and “where did you go” referred to where you had it on said plane and I thought where else can you have it except in the bath rooms?

…..or ….in the isles when everyone is asleep and the lights are down….…or the kitchenette between sections because they have those little drapes … or the sleeper lounge that the flight attendants use…or in your seat if you hide under a blanket….

Or if you own a plane or get a private charter, you can just do it in your seat or anywhere you like.

There is actually a hilarious (Or tragic - It depends on you) chapter of a book called Hero of the Underground by Jason Peter a former NFL player who developed an addiction to pain killers after sustaining several injuries.

He wanted to go to rehab “again” but wanted to go “in style” so he chartered a private plane and hired 2 escorts to keep him company the whole way.

Besides the escorts, he also brought an eight ball (cocaine and heroin) with him. When the plane landed to refuel, he had to step out and was nervous that the crew would see all the drugs lying around but they simply tidied up the plane and he got back in and the party continued until he reached his destination and began his rehab treatment which saved his life.

In another chapter, he mentioned a female friend who took him to a sex club where he paid a another woman to blow him at the exact instant he took a hit of crack and he said the sensation was awesome. I’ll take his word for it but no need to try it myself!

But back to the topic of this posting: My first flight was to Disney World in Florida except I was less than a year old and have absolutely no recollection of the trip. So….I never got to see Mickey….even if I did see Mickey. :(

Maybe that’s why I’m into SC’s, SP’s and MPA’s today because I never really got to go to Disney World!

There! That’s my excuse and I’m standing by it!

I’m also going to make sure that I never go there (even if I’m in Florida!) so I can continue to use my excuse!

Wow… this has been a cathartic growth period for me! Lol!

I wandered off , missing for about 30 minutes, so I was told.

First flight was a beat up.Russian turbo prop when I was a kid. I remember a lot of excitement...and vomit. My favorite flights were the low level insertion practice in choppers when I was in the service. Sitting on the floor, no seat belts, legs hanging out while the drivers went balls to the wall between the trees, buildings, cows. All rollercoaster since then have been a disappointment.

Did you sit on your helmet so you don't get your balls blown off?

"Practice ", I never served where they shot at choppers. But, if a round is powerful enough to come through the floor, the 1960s helmet is of no use.

1973 one of Air Canada's first flights of the Lockheed L-1011 from Toronto to Vancouver.
I was one of the only kids on the plane and they asked If my father and i wanted to see the cockpit. We rode up there for about 5 minutes in absolute awe. Those were the days. :)
