First post - Need advice

I am just getting into this hobby....very exciting for sure...

Question is should I go and see an well reviewed MP or SP ? Or take my chances on Backpage ?

For MP I read reviews about Gina and she seems to be good from her photos etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest finding someone reviewed before taking the plunge using BP.

I'm new to this as well (first time was in late December) so I understand the anxiousness. MA or SP is down to personal preference. Haven't done the former yet myself.

In my limited experience, I would say only take your chances on Backpage if you have money to burn. It appears sometimes somebody hits the jackpot on there, finding a great experience with somebody new, and gets that experience before she decides the business isn't for her or realizes she can increase her rates. But between the scammers, thieves, people who seem to have drug or mental health issues, or a weird feeling she might not be working on your own free will, it's a big roll of the dice. I luckily haven't had some of the horror stories, but I did take my chances on 2 Backpage ads that had no previous reviews and they were very negative experiences that almost turned me off the hobby.

That said, I do feel grateful that others will take that chance and let others on these forums know.

My advice is to see only well reviewed MP or SP (on this site and other boards), keeping in mind that some established and trusted ladies also advertise on BP. This suggestion is for when you are still finding your way around. If you read some posts here, there are many horror stories relating to BP ads. They are not only risky to your pocket book, but some incidents are down right dangerous.

As for Gina, she's a good bet as a MP. She also has an extended menu if you are interested.

Save yourself a headache and try a place like Mirage for an sp. if looking for an ma there are a few well reviewed places, personally I've never gone wrong with the Brass but there are lots of good places. All that being said there are a lot of well reviewed girl from bp just have to do your research here.

I second the motion re: Mirage by Bored123...just an outstanding group of ladies being offered there! And the services offered are not "up-charged." Can't say enough for the Mirage team!

As one of Gina's biggest admirers I say you can't go wrong with her. But the other suggestions are also good. BP is like a vast wasteland, you are better off going with a well reviewed MA or SP. When you get more experience (reading posts here helps a lot as you suggest) then maybe you can contemplate wading into the BP cesspool and try to find a gem.

For all the problems with BP, it's also where I've encountered most of my favourites. Definitely don't just blindly book the first nice pictures you see. Take some time and do a little research. Keep in mind that many BP ads are fake or not what they appear to be. Check out Cowboy Kenny's diary to get a sense of it.

I find agencies are over-rated, at least in Ottawa. I agree, however, that if you are going to call an agency, start with Mirage. If you do call Mirage, I suggest you sign up for the loyalty program.

BP takes some time and effort. If that seems like a PITA, then just stick to very well reviewed indies and Mirage, if you want to try an agency.

One other thing - keep in mind that Montreal is only a couple hours down the highway. (merb is the Montreal board)

Thanks for all the info....I went to see Gina last week and it was an awesome time...Massage 10 play time 10.

No sense in posting details as she is well reviewed on here...But overall a great 1st experience...

Next up I think I will try the Brassclub and see how that goes.

I have been doing this twenty years...part of the charm of this is finding your own hidden gems before they get so popular that you can't book them. Be an adventurer, take one for the team as they say. Discovery of new diamonds in the rough is priceless.

Oh I have no problem taking one for the team as soon as my fake ad detection skills get up to par.
