A real time recreation of Yuri Gagarin's pioneering first orbit, shot entirely in space from on board the International Space Station. The film combines this new footage with Gagarin's original mission audio and a new musical score by composer Philip Sheppard.

A nice piece of history, grab the popcorn and watch it on the big screen

Talk about have the "right stuff". For those who didn't know, From Wikipedia: "Gagarin landed separately from his spacecraft, having ejected with a parachute 7 km (23,000 ft) above ground"

At the time, there were runours that Yuri Gagarin was not the first Russian shot into outer space but the first to return alive.
