She returned to school the next day with the following note:

Dear Ms. Davis,

I want to be perfectly clear on my child's homework illustration.
It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint surrounded by male customers with money.
I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm.
This drawing is of me selling a shovel.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Harrington

So what is your opinion of this teacher

She tells her students to draw without teaching them a dam thing about how to so they end up with stick figures

Useless and unqualified teacher IMHO

The qualifications to teach is any useless degree

So that is a reason not to teach them anything !

They are 5 and 6 years old

Do you not believe they can understand basic drawing concepts

I fail to see the benefit of having them draw stick figures , indeed, it may well retard their progress as now they feel incompetent that their best effort ends up in a stick figure

If a student was taught how to draw by their parents I would imagine the children gathering around as that student taught them how to use shading for depth etc and did the teachers job

I will bet a body slide that teacher cannot draw anything above a stick figure which makes them useless and even destructive

The qualifications to teach is a useless arts degree that has nothing to do with teaching then some time at teachers college
