Congrats Cruise, even though I made fun of you before.

Is it in Software Enginering, or Computer-related ? If you make so many typos(like mints instead of minutes), your program won't compile, and your boss ain't gonna like it.. see what I mean ?

Anyway, all the best to you on this new job.

Oh, don't blow away all your pay cheque on SPs. Moderation is the key

it require some typing and alot of clicking.

i can type 55 words per mints.

whatsup.
this is Cruise typin in normal style.
b4 i introduce u this fast typing tekniqe
u have 2 pay attention and guess what i m trying to explain.
computer industry is very demanding, and time is never enuf
there4, people use short form to type emails and trying get their ideas out asap.
the words don't have to be correct, as long as it sounds like the word u trying to say.
then the reciever would understand what u trying say.
is bbbj a typo or people delibrately type it like that to save time?
i think u get my .

I am in System Development and I have across lots of computer professional as well as co-op students. Nobody makes the kind of typo and spelling errors like you. Don't make excuse for yourself, Cruise, I can see another problem with you- it is your attitude!

Your command of English is just not acceptable in a business environment. If you run into problem at work later because of this shortcoming of yours, I won't say " I told you so "

I must agree with Ice Dog

Congratulations on your new job Cruise. And welcome to Bay Street too - it's a different kind of Street; that's for sure! If I may be so bold as to pass a comment:

u have 2 pay attention and guess what i m trying to explain.

You're quite right that the computer industry is demanding. But business as a whole is very demanding, and Bay Street business is quite possibly the most demanding in Canada. You may find that Bay Street types are in fact so demanding that they really can't spare a lot of time. Thus many Bay Street types won't enjoy trying to "guess" what you are trying to explain. You may think it's a fast way to type, but on Bay Street it's also a pretty fast way out of job too.

great area to work in actually......smiling

once again congrats on the job......smiling

annalee
Actually Annalee your probably correct. I don't think they tend to take well to the newest vendor waving a freshly printed permit.

Sorry cruise but your typing skills are frightening. I might not be the worlds best at grammar or spelling but if I tried to pass that off in any occupation I had, I am sure I would have been fired due to incompetance.

... Does that mean that his new job is a Hot Dog Vendor?
I already clarified that I could not spell.

He said he was wroking on Bay Street. He also said he types 55 wpm. At no point has he stated clearly and precisely that his new found occupation includes his typing skills or lack there of.
