Hypothetically speaking, let`s say Alberta does vote to separate. What if the province votes "yes" but the urban cities like Edmonton and Calgary have more "no" votes. Will those cities be allowed to separate from Alberta and stay in Canada? If not, then the entire movement is nothing but hypocrisy.
