TL, DR: Go to Vancouver!
Thanks for reading.

Stop reading this and get on a plane to BC....
Why aren't you going?
Ok, fine! You twisted my arm.... here's my story:
I've wanted to do this post for a while, but wanted time to do it right, as well as let the experience sink in a bit. Recently, I was on the West Coast for 10 weeks for work. I work for a the Armed Forces (and that's all I'll say about that). After 2 weeks, a buddy said we should go into the city, and I jumped at the chance. First of all, the city is beautiful, clean and very friendly. The views are amazing! For a guy from the prairies seeing mountains everyday never lost it's thrill. The weather was okay... we were there in winter so it was white everywhere, not very cold (for a bunch of Manitoba boys anyway).
Bored, I decided to see what was what and spend a couple of my weekends in Downtown Vancouver.
The following are all the places I visited in the 10 weeks between Nov 2016 and Jan 2017.
The Swedish Club. $$$$$
By far the most expensive and classicist place I visited, and by far my biggest disappointment. First off, it's clean and warm and inviting, like a Las Vegas hotel. The girls are STUNNING! I mean model, supermodel or better. HOWEVER, it exchange for a classy place and beautiful providers, the attitudes suck! The management are rude and uncaring and the SPs are all divas. No one looks you in the eye, not real talking, and the services are limited and expensive! I managed to escape with my bank roll intact but would not repeat. If all you want is model looks and don't care about personality and you have no bank limit, I say go for it, otherwise there are better places. 2 stars.
The Platinum Club. $$$$
This place is downtown and is the place the Swedish Club wishes it was. Again, warm and clean and a good selection of rooms (reminds me of Angel's here in town). Everyone is very friendly. Expensive but worth it. The only draw back in the limited selection, 2 to 3 on any given day. But if Miley is one of the 3 it doesn't matter who the other 2 are. Would repeat if I had the time and money. Miley is clearly the all-star there but feel free to ask for recommendations, they don't mind. 4 stars.
The New Star Relaxation $$
This is a dark horse for me. Normally I avoid Asian places because of the problems with trafficking, and in Vancouver that problems is most more clear with the added complication of drugs (which are everywhere). However this place was came well recommended, so I want along. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. First off, it's cold and grey like everything could use a new coat of paint and heater. At least the shower was clean. Walk in and no line up. When the SP arrived, she was older (40+), but I wasn't too bothered by that. She was relaxed with a good attitude, and had a relaxed method of tipping (she basically let you tip whatever you want). It was all fine, but when I left I noticed two other beautiful SPs waiting around. Would recommend by call ahead to check if there are more working. 3 stars.
I saved the best for last...
Carmen and Friends/ The Fox Den Vancouver. $$$
This is the only place I went back to multiple times and it was worth it every time. They call themselves the "Legendary" Fox Den, and that may be selling themselves short. Perfect EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Relaxed and friendly. The SPs are stunning and a huge selection. Easy to book, easy to talk to, the staff are experts at what they do. The rooms are small and dark but that adds to the vibe of the place. It's a fantasy and they sell it hard! The only thing; They burn a lot of candles and other smells and stuffs and everyone wears perfumes, but the rooms are small, hot and stuffy so it can be a bit overwhelming and if you have allegories or something it's not a great combo. Anyway, totally sublime from start to finished and I was debating living in Vancouver just for them. 5 stars. GO!
Anyway, that's my report.... there are more places and SPs around but theses are the ones I saw. Overall, it was a good experience. Would repeat a few places, would avoid a couple others but overall I'd try it again. I'd say that people are a all bit more relaxed about the whole thing and no one gave me a hard time about anything. If you are bored with the scene in Ontario then this is the place to be. The only thing, if you are used to Ottawa, the selection in BC can be a bit overwhelming, just take it slow and enjoy.
It's been good being home the last couple of months, but I do miss Vancouver. I may take my vacation time there this summer when it's warmer. If I do I'll post a new one of these then.
Party on!
