"To further commemorate the anniversary, Fender's Custom Shop is issuing the limited-edition 1954 Stratocaster, manufactured with many of the same machines and methods used for the original. Fender is also producing the 50th anniversary edition of the American Deluxe Stratocaster."

Woo hoo! Too young to get one the first time around (wasn't born yet at the time). Grew up through the CBS-ownership days of crap workmanship... finally! It may be a re-issue but with todays technology and craftsmanship skills and a dedication to original specs, this one's gonna be a winner!

If it's any consolation, I affectionately refer to my small collection of axes as ladies.

The similarities do not end there either: both hobbies require copious amounts of money, they both wear G strings, both can be rather vocal and lyrical if you push the right buttons, and man is it ever a turn-on to make the lady sqeal!
