In no particular order, here are the female posters I admire - past and present ...
Sara of select: Nothing but a class act 100% and a voice of reason.
Twinkle: Passionate, intelligent and articulate.
Kathy P: I love the way she has the ability to speak her mind.
BadKat: Always classy with a great personal touch.
Sara of roommates: I love the way she runs her business.
Cindy Spence: A person who truly stands up for herself.
Naughty Alex: I love Spassssh.
Nicole of Garden of Eden:If I ever returned to work for an agency, I would give her a call.
Miranda of Pleasures: Beautiful and sexy ... lethal combination.
Kyoko of Starlight: Refreshing enthusiasm on the board. I love the way she represents her girls 100 per cent.
A-1 Provider: I love the way she articulates the SP perspective.
Gabrielle: I wish she came around TERB more often.
Kayla: I wish she had more time to contribute the boards more often. This woman should write her autobiography. [See http://www.menbehavingbadly.ca/Kaylas_Corner.]
Shaneen: I love her approach to the biz and her attempts to bring new ideas to the industry.
Longfirmlegs: Great point of view to share, Annalee.
Vanessa of Select: Hey. Where have you been lately?
Kinky Kara: Such a sweetheart. I was amazed at her generosity of spirit when she opened up her incall apartment and welcomed out of town SP's to stay.
FEMALE POSTERS I MISS ... sigh ...
Morgan: Please come back .... one of my all time favourite posters ... what an incredibly witty sense of humour ...
Lyla: This place is not the same without her.
Lizzy of Niagara Falls: I just miss her posts ... and hope she did meet her goal of getting out of the biz after a few months to make her way through school ...
Sexy Sofia: I have never met someone who could flirt so shamelessly ... Damn some of her posts were hot ...
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Sinful Selena: Truly an original.
The Angels: They just seem to be so damn down to earth.
I have a great deal of admiration for sp posters who are willing to share their thoughts, experiences and opinions. I love reading contributions from female posters who stand up for themselves and who are willing to present a different perspective, even if sometimes goes against the status quo. It takes guts for the outspoken sp's to speak their minds, especially if they are challenging someone else's posts - they do not have the luxury of hiding behind anonymity or multiple handles. They risk losing clientele when they take a strong position. I don't have to agree with everything posted to appreciate their contributions. There are incredibly articulate, intelligent women here who contribute a great deal of wisdom to the board.
So many sp's are too insecure or competitive to share info ... it's nice to see some sp's who work together on making the industry better or safer. I would hate to see other sp's feel silenced or too uncomfortable to post because of treatment from a select few arrogant, self righteous or dismissive posters. Not everyone is confident to stand up against such vocal criticisms.
Female SP posters are judged more than men. Some people question their motives and believe they are only here because they are seeking business. And others face a backlash simply because intelligent, outspoken females seem to be intimidating or threatening to certain posters. Sometimes the hostility makes me cringe. I think it takes a lot of guts for women to be on this board in an effort to present the female perspective.
Note: I don't follow much of the dancer or MPA threads, so sorry if people were overlooked ... I have heard wonderful things about JML and Alana of BP (did someone say Shaggy?). And I haven't been following the board as much lately, so sorry if I missed some of the more recent posters. And yes this is a recycled post of long ago ... my original post was bumped. I figured it was worthwhile redoing, as there are many new posters who would not have read the original one.
