I am seriously considering getting into this industry as a provider. FS is not something I would be capable of, at least not for a long time, but I believe I could be a very good MA. Thing is, I am male. As you all know there is a huge demand and supply for female MAs, but in my searching I haven't found anything on male providers that just do massage. Is there an actual established market for male MAs catering to either women or men? Or do male massage providers generally only have success going the RMT route as the demand for SW just isn't there?

There are males who do massage in most spas. It tends to be harder to get work because of well known history of sexual assaults that happened at a big chain (in the US if I recall). There are loads of men who have tried approaching sex workers with massage only offers, we aren't interested. We'd rather go to a credible establishment for that. As for male escorts, there have been some successful ones in Ontario but they generally provide more than massage and they worked damned hard to make their way. It does not sound as if that's the route you are looking for. RMT is something that I have considered yes but that's a long term change, not something I am seriously considering at the moment since I do not have any course work or paperwork. I mentioned it just for contrast with SW.

BFE-MA is what I would expect to provide, yes, though not actually being sexually attracted to men I do realize is a barrier I would have to overcome before having much in the way of success -- there are plenty of lesbian SWs that cater primarily to men by necessity, but maybe I'm just fooling myself in thinking my situation is similar. Either way, figuring out what to do to make myself a good BFE-MA provider isn't what worries me, it's more whether or not there's even a point in trying to be one in the first place.
