Well folks it has been fun while it lasted! But I have had enough of the childish bickering and crap by certain regulars who visit chat in particular. So I am taking an extended leave --If I return will depend --To all the good people I met here Thanks--To all the others who want to ruin this and peoples lives--I hope you live long and suffer a lot.

While I might agree with the generalities of your farewell statement, the quality members far outnumber the idiots, its just that the idiots are more vocal (and have far more time on their hands or far more less waiting for them back in reality).
You'll be back. They all come back. No matter how bad it is, there is a morbid "need to know what you're missing" aspect of TERB.

Being on hiatus from chat myself, for many of the same reasons parang stated (btw, he's a chat moderator) I agree that there are more quality members than idiots.
However, the idiots have taken the fun away. It is NOT fun to see people being intentionally hurt. It is NOT fun to see chat inflicted with petty bickering that both sides know is not acceptable and ruins the enjoyment for others.
'Quality members' can either accept that this is the case, or try to get things changed.

Meesh, the obvious question is "why dont the chat moderators squelch unacceptable behavior"? If Parang is a moderator, presumably with the power to dictate the parameters of acceptable behavior, why leave rather than act?
I am sure I am missing some subtle points, and the "children" will misbehave regardless of how mods act, but if you ban them from ERChat and warn them about their public conduct on TERB, they will have to conduct their petty bickering via PM.

The general ambience of Chat has degenerated to such an extent that many "regular" chatters, myself included, have opted to abstain from prolonged visits to ERChat.
It would seem and this is my personal point of view, that Terb might very well be heading in a similar direction, especially when senior members of this board are publicly reprimanded for seemingly innocent comments.

Thanks to all the people -who sent me pms asking me to reconsider--I appreciate that.- But I think it best to take a few weeks away from chat and review some things with the other mods--How we will handle "the kids" in the future. They are ruining chat. Meesh ty we will talk.
