Not sure it's my favorite, but "We Need to Talk About Kevin" was the most impactful movie I've seen in a decade. It was disturbing in a way that I still can't shake, ever after months and months.

It warms my cynical heart to know there are Moonrise Kingdom fans out there. It's still the best film I've seen this year, lead by two wonderful young actors.

Btw, Jared Gilman's voice has broken.
