Hi there! I have been looking into various hotels or motels in Kingston. There are many, but few are of very good "quality".

I would like to avoid hotels like the kozy inn, howard johnson, etc. Places that are dirty or attract a lot of unwanted attention from the staff, or would be able to notice unnecessary traffic.

Qualities I am looking for are:

Clean, easy to navigate (for the client to find the providers room), discreet, and allows both parties to feel safe.

Please message me privately if you have any suggestions, I know discretion with this topic is desirable.

Thank you!

The jaquzzi suites at 7 Oaks are a fair price. But I live in the west end.

I do prefer motels as you usually have a private entrance...

I wasnt to sure what a client may prefer. Id be worried about their car being noticed by a familiar person....or just about the traffic going in and out.

There is a nice "inn" with great rooms from the photos... I think it is called green acres?

Thanks for the input!

I'm the opposite, I find hotels far more discreet. There are any number of reasons you could be at a hotel (restaurants, bars, conference rooms) should you bump in to someone you know. Also, you can park anywhere within a few blocks and all anyone knows is that you are somewhere downtown. Carry a small bag, or a briefcase, or a couple of coffees in a tray and head straight for the elevators. No one at the desk will look at you once, let alone twice. I feel like there is too much visibility with the local motels. They are on one of the busiest roads in town and you never know who is driving by. That's just my own paranoia though. Being a single guy I doubt anyone actually gives a shit what I'm doing.
It's also distance for me. I don't like to go downtown. It's a fair drive and hard to park a big truck. As well the motel rooms are far enough off of princess that people can't even see the rooms

Yeah. It seems the motels around that you drive up to the door are quite noticeable. Like "seven oaks". There is quite afew dingy looking hotels around, particularly when heading towards the cat center.

The motel thing sounds nice in theory because of how easily one can get to the door and park.....but it is quite out in the open. Downtown sounds iffy to me, because the lack of parking and the waterfront hotel like holiday inn has parking but you have to pay like 15 bucks.

Kingston hotels seem to go between being shitty and cheap - to "okay" - to fairly nice but expensive.

Thank you all for your input / suggestions!

Marriott Courtyard at Kings Crossing Sopping Mall. Very nice and less cost than DT, lots of free parking, and lots of stores, restaurants so no one will suspect anything.

I disagree with this choice , it is the least private . If you are going to be seen by someone going into a hotel , this is the one you will be seen at . Everybody is there shopping that you know . I actually will not see a SP if they say they are staying here .
I don't mind going to the Ambassador or the Days Inn . Both have discreet parking .

Both work for me too. I like having our own entrance or at least not passing the front desk and these both provide that.

I will say 7 Oaks surprised me and I have rented there many times. Rooms are descent and at a fair price and I tend to come and go at odd hours so I'm not terribly worried about being seen.

401 and Div offers some other choices too.

How are the hotels/motels up hwy 15 ?

I like the idea of The Ambassador, I was not sure if they had "key cards" or anything like that to move through the building?

I know they have a lot of parking there, and separate entrances away from the front desk. I think it is reasonably priced as well.

I was looking at photos of the rooms of different hotels in Kingston...and the "cheaper" ones seem to have very gross looking room, poor quality beds, and the bedding is very..."floral" haha.

Mostly I like the idea of having several entrances into the building, and the rooms looking very comfortable.

I was looking at many of the different motels / inn with the parking right in front of the room entrance, but it seems only afew of them are worth the money. Mostly the idea of having several different vehicles parked out front of a motel entrance seems off putting to me.

Thanks you guys!

We have some nice new downtown hotels like the 4 points Sheridan, or Merriot, but parking in the city lots can be a problem, especially if it`s concert night at the K-Rock Center. (also I always feel a little uncomfortable walking into an upscale place wearing something ordinary, like say, jeans and t-shirt or something like that, not a suit.) Personally, I`ve seen a visiting SP a couple of times at the new Holliday Inn Express on Dalton Ave. Very clean, with a few jacuzzi suites. Lots of parking behind the building, or in the neighboring Days Inn lot, both out of sight of the street. Or there`s Denny`s parking lot next door. If someone spots your car, hey, you were just having dinner.

Yeah - I was looking at the marriott earlier, that looks like a nice one.

I also saw the "first Canadian inn" that is beside division....the reviews/price sound great, although I have not heard of any mention of that place on any of the local boards.
