Hello all you fellow tubbies!

Just wanted to shill some supplements, including a new one that I started using about 3 weeks ago.

Since late Jan I have been back at the gym trying to shed the insulation I have accumulated over the past 1.5 years and I have experimented with some new things I have never tried before. As you may have read before, I started with the good ole standby of Ephedrine/Caffeine/Aspiring, 1.5 to 2 hours before training. Did that for about 3 weeks.

Next tried a variation of the ECA, called Tight. Same concept except substitute Synephrine for Ephedrine and Yohimbe for Aspirin. Makes you sweat like a bastard and you have to maintain your hydration as the green tea extracts act as a diurectic. Product also include Guggulsterones, which are supposed to elevate your thyroid activity.

Last but not least I came across a product on one of the training boards called Yohimburn. This is not ingestable, but rather a topical cream. It is a cream that is applied to areas of the body which are the most resistant to fat loss. ie hips, thighs, triceps for women; love handles, belly and boobs for men. Well I also read that people are using it on their faces from the cheekbone on down to the jowls. (not the forehead or anywhere near the eyes) The main ingredient in this product is Yohimbe extract (Yohimbine) as well as a variety of other compounds. Make sure its the DF variety.

Just a quick blurb from a fitness website that I value.

"Yohimbine is used topically to increase lipolysis, or fat burning, both locally and to a lesser extent systemically (all over). Yohimbine works best on "stubborn" fat areas. These "stubborn" fat pockets are a results of genetics and estrogen exposure (natural and environmental). Estrogen creates these stubborn fat pockets by increasing the # of A2 adrenoceptors and by directly activating them (which inhibits fat burning) While yohimbine is not an anti-estrogen, its action on the A2 adrenoceptor allows for the release (burning) of fatty acids in these estrogenic fat pockets. Basically yohimbine allows you to easily burn fat that otherwise is almost impossible to burn. In women, topical use of yohimbine is most effective in thighs/hamstrings, buttocks, hips and triceps (though not limited to these)- results are noticeable in women, because of higher estrogenic exposure, regardless of body fat percentage. In men, the areas vary more but typically-chest, love handles, buttocks and thighs- results are more noticeable in men with lower body fat percentages- because men typically have less stubborn fat- though the stubborn fat they have is just as difficult to lose. Basically this means that if you are leaner you will see the results more clearly because most of fat you have left is stubborn fat, though you will not necessarily lose more fat than someone with a higher body fat percentage. Each application contains enough solution to apply 50mg of yohimbine. The solution has a pleasant peppermint aroma and you will experience a cool tingling sensation as the solutions improves the action of yohimbine at the site of application."

The last part about the pleasant cool tingling is bullshit. At least on the face that is, which by the way is not what the original purpose of this product was.

I have seen for the first time in my life the definition of the bottom row of abdominals (barely visable  ) and the layer of fat on my thighs (quads and hams) has dramatically decreased from the day I started.

Lastly I know that some people will think this is cheating or that this info is useless and that's fine. But for those of us who do work at it and need that extra little edge, I think the $100 for this product is well worth it.

PS this creme is not like those other skin firming or fat loss cremes that are simply topical diuretics, like that product at GNC called cutting gel. This product works as stated above and is permanent...that is if you don't take a 1.5 year hiatus from activity and subscribe to the gravy diet.

I have my doubts that a topical product can increase fat loss where it is applied. I mean come on, really. I shrinks your jowels too? Everything I've read says that fat loss can't be targeted (i.e. Doing more situps won't lose fat on your stomach, but it will make your abs stronger.). You need to lose fat on the whole body with a caloric deficit (sp?). The more calories you burn compared to what you take in will target fat cells to make up the diff.

The creme wont do it on its own. All it does is that it activates the receptors in the brown fatty tissue. A lot of people who have low bodyfat overall still have areas where they cannot shed. So once the cells become responsive, aerobic exericise will use the energy contained within as evenly and if applied properly at a more rapid rate then your run of the mill white fat.

I agree with your skeptical attitude toward supplement products. Its a shyster's business. But once in a while you get something good and it doesnt take long before the feds ban it. I am somewhat of a self-biochemistry experiment when it comes to supplements (no hard stuff) . Mostly to do with fat burning as I easily add muscle from food. So because I am a pill junkie I try these things out, and I do have a Bio-Chem Physiology background so I try to weed out the bad stuff. It cost a lot of money but its a hobby.

Anyway I noticed results after the first week and can definitely feel the difference shaving and when I'm sitting and the fold over the pants is hardly there any more.

100 bucks a bottle? Is it that much better than stacker 2, xenadrine, etc?

Have you ever tried buying ephedrine, caffeine and white willow bark on their own?

I don't like the premaid stacks that much. Tried Diet Fuel, Ripped Fuel, Stacker, Stacker 2, Xenadrine. They market their product really good and I guess they work alright. But they always gave me heart burn like a muthafucka. I buy the Ephy HCL's and Anh. Caf. induvidually and then just buy bayer aspirin (coated). Doesn't give me heartburn as much. Instead of the Aspirin b4 workout I will substitute Yohimbine 8mg and then the night after second or third workout with it, some lucky lady will have me to contend with as I take my maiden voyage to the massage sections upstairs neighboor

Oh shit missed this part completely. It's not a supplement you ingest. It's a creme you massage into area's that you have identified as being the stuborn areas. The areas which are almost impossible through excercise or nutrition to remove. Oh sure some people have great genes and have a tight body regardless of what they do. Well I'm not one of them. Sure I wish I could have an ass like Vanessa Valentine.
