Only one day after the emergency landing of a dash 8 Q400 pplane in Denmark,
Transport Canada and Bombardier send out a notice saying
it was not due to a system error and that the planes are safe.

That is before the danish air traffic commission has analyzed the event.
The european air safety board EASA is puzzled by Transport Canada.

There was a Transport Canada person interviewed on CBC Radio that seemed to indicate that Canadian Q400s (Porter) used a "different version" of the landing gear.

The CRJ planes are, judging from my limited experience, not reliable. Since last year this time, I have flown to Minneapolis 5 times, on CRJ's. Only 1 of the 5 times were there no troubles with the CRJ plane going to Minneapolis.
3 times the scheduled airplane was unserviceable, and we were either delayed 5-6 hours or in one case the flight was cancelled altogether.

Funnily enough, the CRJ's flights from Minneapolis to Toronto were always OK.
