Fairmont Plaza in NYC

For anyone interested, I just got some marketing fluff at the office. The Plaza Hotel (a Fairmont property) in New York City has rooms from $239 Canadian per night Jan to March 2004.

Refer to "The Plaza Loves Canada" promotion when reserving a room. Canadian ID required at check-in.

Disclaimer - I am not associated with Fairmont hotels. I just stay at a few of them from time to time.

Don't quote me, but it looks like they're doing the old Niagara Falls, NY deal of paying the U.S. price in Canadian dollars. Mid-week rates for the lowest-priced room at the Plaza is usually around US$269. Stepping up to a deluxe room with a King-sized bed will bring you up to US$329 or so.

CDN$239 is a great rate, even with what's happening with exchange rates these days.

The Plaza is a gorgeous hotel, in a great location - 5th Avenue, right at the south end of Central Park.

Hmm ... thinking I need to take me a trip to Broadway ...
