I posted a question a couple of days ago - deleted. I was wondering why one of the "Mark" threads was locked while the other - where some esteemed terb memebers got completely off topic - was (is?) still open. I'll ask again, why not just delete them both and let us know when (if) the guy has really gone to his just rewards.

It's simple dcbogey, we dont want to give the asshole the attention he craves but at the same time if we delete it we get people screaming at us about censorship.... kind of a fine line we gotta walk isnt it?

I totally inderstand. But as TERB moderators don't you have a responsibility to "the greater good" of the TERB community? That guy is roadkill that needs to be erased. The only mention we need to hear is whether he's still around or not.
I found the "comedic" banter on the (still) open thread a more than a little disturbing.

I don't want "to hunt" anyone down - I save that for ducks and geese. Like a bunch of people here, I think we are curious - was it a hoax or not.

Why should TERB (or any of the mods) be 'responsible' for gettting this information and distributing it?

Last time I looked, it was just a review board.

I personally think the threads should be gone, as I consider them in bad taste, but that's not my call.

As for the information, why don't YOU find out and let us know instead of complaining that someone else hasn't done it? You care. Many don't.
