EZ Rock Changes

I read this morning that Mike Cooper has resigned from EZ Rock but will be fulfilling the remainder of his contract (6 month non-compete?).

Then on Erin Davis' site she says she was fired, but that was because she has another opportunity, as does Coop.

Anyone know where they are going? Together?

Mike and Erin will be on 98.1 CHFI as soon as Mike's non-compete runs out (6 months), or gets bought out.

I guess they made a good "temporary" team.......

I doubt they'd make him work thru the 6 months; it's too risky. Howard Stern is being forced to work thru the end of his contract but his radio show now doubles as an advertisement for Sirrius Radio, to which Stern is moving when his contract runs out.

The rumour right now is that JACK FM is going to change formats and go back to top 40. Not sure if they will go back to being called KISS FM, but the rumour is that Mad Dog and Billie will move back to JACK in the near future.

Rob Christie who currently does mornings on JACK would be a good fit at EZ. Wonder if he is calling the PD and sniffing around?

JACK never really worked IMHO. They need to change something cause they are getting killed in the ratings during all day parts.
