I've had an eye opening experience and have a more respect for SWs and MAs.
I previously lost my job and had to take a break from this hobby until recently.
I decided to celebrate my new job with the company of one of Ottawa's finest SW.
In order to make this happen I had to download/install a text app and get a new number. I picked the first option without much thought.
I booked a session and had an amazing time.
A few days later I re-signed inand discovered 18 new messages.
It turns out that the number I was assigned was previously a umber for a SW.
I was receiving texts to set up sessions.
I politely started to respond to the text simply saying that they have the wrong number.
I always heard that SWs and MAs was not an easy job (and believed it) and now I saw proof:
Many of the texts were rude, unclear, incomplete, and some were asking for very unsafe services.
Some of the texts were just one word like Hey, Sup, U Available, etc.
Even as I was trying to respond to the ones that were clearly looking for a SW or MA, more texts were coming in. I COULDN'T KEEP UP!
Ladies - I will definitely be tipping even more after experiencing a small fraction of what you put up with.
Guys - write better initial texts (I know many of you are seasoned pros and know better, but those new to the hobby, please take this advice.
Off to get a new number so I don't have to deal with this anymore......
