I agree Sheik. Either this guy is not telling us the whole story or he is incredibly naive. I know he asks us to believe it could happen to us, but lending an SP $5000?
Come on!

That's lame, man.

Saw this post in the MP section - the message applies to other aspects of the industry. Wonder if the BBFS was worth it in the end.

Are you saying he would have been less likely to be conned if it had been safe FS ? Looks to me like the guy made 2 mistakes and while he must accept some responsibility the lions share of the scorn should be reserved for grifter that took him for the dough .

Damn! What a f*****g sad story! It's easy to be taken when emotions come into play & get in the way. It often clouds our better judgment. Thanks for sharing the story, sad as it is & I hope others will learn something from your mistake.

This isn,t a sad story other than to make the point that a guy in management that is one step in front of his collegues can be an idiot when it comes to "sidewalk smarts".He puts his health at risk with bbfs, not once but numerous times. This young lady read this guy right,as a RESCUER..and played him to perfection..and ripped him off which of course was wrong. The lesson here...you might be a real playa at your office but on the street you may be no smarter than a 9yr old.
