Not exactly Phuket ...
... as much as I miss the seafood places along Pa Tong, the images of what happened in Phi Phi and Phuket still haunt me.
Nice pics. I don't know about the resort, other than the James Bong Island pics, the rest are of Phi Phi Island which is near Phuket anyway.gabeti said:

Some of those pics are of Krabi. Just across from Phuket. Phi phi was very cool. Stayed in bungalow that is no longer there. Also swam with whale shark while diving. The pic of the beach on the island off Phi Phi is where The Beach was filmed. Misleading as it is covered in garbage from all the cruise boats that stop for photo ops. Shame. I preferred Krabi, more rustic less touristy. Phuket is no different than Carribean shlock, unless you go up north to the muslim area and check out some of the rubber plantations and some of the smaller villages. After a day though you've done that. I much prefer Chang Mai and Chang Rhai (sp?) up north. Also take a side trip to Mynamar to see some the village of the long necks. Its exploitive but cool none the less.
Here, just to remind all how powerful nature can be when it strikes.
