Excuses Bank

We all have real lives and many of us have significant others (of some degree) to answer to. During normal times it can be easier but during Covid times it has been a bit more difficult. For those of us who need to sneak away for a few hours, what are some of your "go to" excuses?

In more normal times I've had impromptu club meetings, appointments with a counsellor, shopping at a store others wouldn't want to go near (Home Depot is a good one wives don't want to go along to). What works for others?

I would think his SO has some rights too. He is making decisions for her also except she most likely doesn't know it.
