Just some late night musings....
It was interesting to see how things have gone in the last 20 years in SC. In some clubs you see some forging ahead, where other clubs have either made a choice or have been forced to take a step backwards.
20 years ago the ladies carried around or got these cheap little plastic step stools to dance on in front of the guys. You usually had to keep your hands where they could be seen and you were not allow to touch. The price then was $5 (now ranging from 10 to 20)
By the mid 80, the Texas lap dance came in. Basically it was mutual touching. It was more than the table dance ($5 or 10) usually going for 20 bucks. This started a bit of a war between the girls who would and those that won't. Of course the resentment of those that wouldn't "deamean" themselves to doing lap dances, because those that would , would be getting most of the dances. In the late 80's various Ontario municiple police started laying charges under the guise of public lewdness and the such. This paved the way for the Ontario Supreme Court to outlaw lap dances. In 2001, Canada's first female Supreme Court justice reversed that judgement, making it legal again....sort of. Mutual touching was consider acceptable in a strip club setting, so long as no penetrating sex or blowjobs were being done. But in the typical government style, ie one step forward several steps back, various municiple governments started to pass city by-laws saying that it was illegal to doing lap dances, basically undermining the Federal Court decision siting that lap dancing infringes on "commmunity standards of morality" (yeah, right!)
In the last year, we now have some SC (most notably border & GTA clubs) offering up BJ and FS in the clubs! The prices for these usually range from 100-140. Now while I have no problem with dancers who offer extras to us hobbyist, I think that this has gone beyond what I think should be acceptable. I personally think that lap dances are ok in the clubs but full out sex acts should be kept to other locales other than the SC. Also this is has created even worse war then lap dances ever did with the dancers. A friend of mine went down to NF to dance thinking of more money to be had, but was shocked that the majority of the dancers at the club she went to were offering escort services. Because she declined from doing that, she wanted to dance not escort, she didn't really make that much money. The girls that did were in more demand than the ones who didn't.
Currently the situation is this: You have a Federal Court decision allowing lap dance but various City By-Laws thumbing thier collective noses at it citing that lap dances hurt the moral character/standards of the community. Which I think is bullshit! Also you having some clubs who are pushing the boundaries which "allow" some escorting services in thier club to take place. Personally I think lap dances are ok within the club but not sex acts!
