Even if it is not, ( the food) food makers or preps (chefs) are cutting corners because of cost and speed. The money is not there so got to find a way to make the same or more money.
Even if a person tried to make the same meal from the 1970's with out cutting corners it is the source that will cut the flavour down.

Nothing tastes better than an ice cold Coke from a glass bottle. Doesn't taste the same out of a plastic bottle.
Here in Michigan there are some stores that sell glass bottles of Coca-Cola made in Mexico with cane sugar instead of corn syrup. The taste is crisper and cleaner than the corn syrup muck.
Wow, I don't drink Coke or soda, but if I am ever in Michigan or Mexico I will get some.
I was just thinking about this today! I miss Pepsi twist in Italy ! Is that even around anymore ? Or orangina in a glass bottle? I didn’t realize that the aluminum cans have terrible chemicals that we ingest (truly Diet Coke is my only vice!) and yes I know the liquid itself is poison. You should try clearly Canadians. Fast food chains replace tasty ingredients with salt and/or sugar... the ignorant masses become accustomed to that crappy taste.

I have noticed that all the Italian places are no longer run by Italians - greek kebab shops no longer run by greeks, chinese takeaway no longer run by chinese...Its like the people who can cook, like really cook, who grew up with nonnas cooking have dissapeared or retired and the places are all run by business people who hire the cheapest workers who cant replicate the food quality or taste. Check it out - next time you go to a pizza place ask if the owners are italian...

So I stay away from processed food as much as possible. Use St. LAWRENCE Market butchers, farms, etc for meat and things like sausages. Very little canned things. Real vegetables when available. It does make a difference.
If anything just stick to natural fruits and vegetables. Cut the dairy and the meat and other processed foods.
I also want to deny there is long covid. Mostly because my friends mother has been saying she has this for two years and I’m tired of hearing such a nonsense term from such an alcoholic.

Agree....long covid is total bullshit. People wanna blame all their ailments along with poor lifestyle choices that add to ailments on something and continue to perpetuate their victim cycle.
