Started hobbying in my 20's, now in my 60's

I cant even estimate, hundreds of thousands for sure, millions, ya maybe..........Yikes

I think about how much I would have , not that I couldn't afford it throughout the years but man it would be nice to get it back

Been fairly frugal. Low budget pooner from the start. So my monthly expenditure, while steady, doesn't break the bank. One of them is about the price of a parking ticket every Sunday morning. So no. I don't fret. My life would have been much more empty if I hadn't indulged. I get to hug, kiss, suck and fuck once a week, at a bargain price, which is better than the nothing I would have been getting for the past decade. So no regrets at all. Around 4 grand a year.

Seems a rather pointless exercise in my eyes as; A. I'll never get the money back and B. Even if I did I'd probably spend it on escorts anyways

In the grand scheme of things, it's just a small proportion. Imagine how much over our lifetimes we've spent on housing, utilities, taxes, gas, car repairs, gifts, food, etc. It's just a small percentage of that.

I'm 49, and hobbying since 18. Maybe on average I spend $5,000 a year. So 30 X $5,000 = $150,000. But just housing, utilites, food, gas, I spent $3,000 a month, so $36,000 a year X 30= $1,080,000

Another perspective: hobbying is an investment in your physical, mental and emotional health. If you are happier and healthier, you're likely to do other things in life to continue the winning streak, including earning more and being a better person.

I'm reminded of the NFL player who was questioned about his high physical therapy and recovery bills (600K annually). He was earning 8M/year at the time and quite rightly said that if 600K gets him 5 more years in the NFL, it's a great investment. I look at hobbying the same way: it can reap greater benefits for you overall if it's adding joy.

Of course, if you're in over your head financially or it's blowing up relationships, then run far and run fast.

I was going to jokingly say Burundi was my go to place. Then I googled poorest country in the world and up popped Burundi.
Actually, it is Raincouver. However, I think I have found the cheapest SP in Canada. I have mentioned her before but got a lot of flak for either humble bragging or lying. Anyway, think Chinese Gilf.
Very important to work on the plumbing once a week at my age. I would hate to think what would happen to it if I put up with dry spells like I had in my youth.
