Cityvibe, an L.A. based web page service, seems to have ripped off escorts photos, sites and information from here there and everywhere without consent.

I have now come across about a half dozen instances where SP friends/acquaintances have had sites ripped off and incorrect information posted. In one case, the lady had retired!!

In another case she is no longer showing her face but Cityvibe displayed it and in yet another instance, someone usurped the lady's image and name and posted the phone number belonging to a well-known incall.

They seem to have a local office where someone named Ivy answers the phone.


SPs check your listing and hobbyists--don't trust these sleazeballs!!!!

What about "Summers" and/or "Angela"

Regarding the info above, anyone familiar with "Summers" or "Angela" posted on CityVibe? They both look terrific, though it could be a hoax. If they are as described, I'll have to make a visit and provide some feedback to the team.

Phone them

The best thing is to phone them and make sure they are the ones in the pix. Ask whether they know they are on Cityvibe. Many T.O. escorts don't know they are on the site.

Cityvibe wants to appear as an established site. It isn't. if they keep doing this, they never will be. No escort in her right mind should pay them any money!!!

This is really odd, but Ivy from Cityvibe called me tonight to tell me about a promotion they're having for fees and to tell me they had an advertisement for me on the site. I don't know her at all or the site for that matter, but she's always been pleasant - and more importantly has kept me informed - when I've spoken to her. If anyone else has information that I'm missing I'd appreciate knowing but other than that I don't have anything but positive things to say about the organization.

I am not sure what standards exist for regarding an established business but CityVibe has been around for at least three years. They seem to be focusing on New York City rather than any the broad range of cities that they list.
How unfortunate that they feel the need to pirate SP pics and sites!

It's a mix of things

It's noteworthy that they called KathyP AFTER they put her info up on the site to offer a paid promotion.

KathyP has had the same phone # and particulars for a long time. The ladies of whom I spoke (I'm a web designer) have changed phone numbers, employers, pix, rates and the info put up was wrong. They put it up without checking. In one case they took the info from a former employer who misused it.

Not a good way to do business. If it works for you, fine. But if there are problems, get on their tail. It's too bad They are doing this because it's a really nice looking site.

You're absolutely right Damondean. Fred pointed out the same thing that you did about City Vibe contacting me after the fact. I guess I shouldn't be so naive. I guess my response was a little lazy and perhaps even a bit greedy, because I have noticed that the City Vibe site does generate a good deal of calls. I should be more particular and careful about who I do my advertising with and insist that I maintain control over my own photos. I guess I figured that once you throw your photos and an advertisement into the domain of this business on the Internet that you really lose control no matter how hard you try to be particular.

That's exactly the point, KathyP. Also, Cityvibe's prices are too high for this market, especially when compared with escorts-Canada which is still the best internet buy, especially when combined with your own web page.
