Not sure exactly where to post this - if it's in the wrong place, please excuse me.

I have been a frequent hobbyist and lately, i have been having ED. Does anyone have any experiences they may want to share on how they deal with it or if they have had any success fixing the problem.

Everything was working fine and then one day, boom, it fell flat and ever since, I can't perform properly. :( HELP! Anyone out there?

Diabetes and high blood pressure will effect your erection. See your doctor. Both are manageable and Viagra amongst others will assist in bringing you back up to full potential...:)

Good advice, I would add that certain medications may also affect you.

possible reasons are stress, blood pressure, diabetes, pressure to perform/deliver, high expectations, lack of exercise, excessive use of weed, viagara, veins in penis are shot up due to penis lengthening devices/techniques etc

possible solutions - see the doctor, exercise especially penis/kegel exercise, lower your expectations and enjoy it for pleasure to the senses and not because you want to perform like the porn star on video, don't smoke, etc

I'm 39 - business stress is there as it is with most people, I have an underactive thyroid but I am on medication for it.

Thanks for all the comments and help. I really didn't expect so many people to give their input. Thank you.

Medicare is free in this country - go see a doctor.

Get thee and thy flaccid pecker to the doctor. ED at 39 is unusual, and you need to investigate the cause.

In my case, I was struck by ED at about age 42. It was caused by a wife that "let herself go", lost any interest in sex, and fell asleep on her face every night by 9:00.

The solution was easy... although expensive!

Was it indeed a sudden decline? Or was it a gradual decline? I've had a gradual decline. Been thinking of picking up some ED drugs. Plan on seeing my doctor sometime this month actually.

You've already got some good advise in this thread. You need to see a doctor. But I am inclined to think it is stress/psychological in nature. I think because of your age and also because if its sudden onset. What about when you are alone. Can you get it up yourself?

Good luck with it.

I have a few clients that get this from time to time,,,,sometimes it is that third beer before coming over, sometimes that substance we will not mention, sometimes they feel intimidated, sometimes they are just tired and stressed. It could be a number of things hon but if all the previous things are ruled out then do what everyone else has suggested. Go see your Dr.

Once you get ED it's best just to get a sex change. Woman have no problem performing. Simple instructions for them. Open legs wide and say awwww.

Go to the Doctor, tell him or her that you have ED. If you don't have high BP or Diabetes, the Dr. will recommend Viagra, Levitra or Cialis. Viagra and Levitra works about an hour after you take the pill, but Cialis works all weekend so you might want to ask it, then you won't have to pop a pill every day. The Dr. can give you samples if you want.
BTW, no smoking, no alcohol, and no stress helps. Enjoy a hobby...

Make sure that your physician rules these things out - it is far too easy to excuse away difficulties that turn out to be medical not age or psychological.

I think I am an expert on this since I have been impotent since 1983 or so. My problem is that the valves that hold the blood in the penis during an erection stopped working, so the blood just flows back out. Viagara, Cialis and Levitra didn't work. Finally I got a tri-mix penile injection that worked pretty good, but I really got tired of sticking a needle in my dick. I rarely use it anymore.
I just got used to having a limp dick. It still works pretty good with blow jobs or hand jobs. I have always found SP's and MPA's to be very sympathetic and can give me alot of satisfaction. With my fingers and tongue I can also do better than my dick ever did.
