Environmental Protesters attempt to shut down....Burning Man?

Gonna have to reach out to my friends working Gate and find out what the story is.
Looked like Burner vs Burner in that protest. (Lots of Burners don't like how much the event has turned into a drug party cool kids thing for the ultra rich. I know the private planes and airport have been targets often.)
And the cops showed up and went for violence. (Not sure if that was Nevada state police or Tribal cops mind you - don't know what the structure is out there.)
Not surprised some of the Burners on the outside of the protest were pissed, though.
A lot of them are really entitled douchebags.
Even the ones that aren't were likely to be pissed though, since no one is going to be happy waiting around in that kind of heat.
Burners protesting Burning man and other Burners is alright by me and I am fine with making people uncomfortable and inconvenienced with your protest, but I'm not sure jamming people up in traffic in desert heat is something I can support. I guess the logic is that people are coming with supplies to camp and so not really in any danger but I'm not convinced that is really true.
A protest that puts other people's lives in danger isn't one I'm gonna sign off on so easily.
But I don't think we have lots of details here.
