Never happen no matter what anyone wants. Been there. Beautiful country and amasing people. However they only salt one road in Oslo and that is to the airport.

Every point leads uphill and further up North is too cold for batteries. Nice thought, but the state of the art just does not match the art of God's Country.

If they manage it, they will shame the entire world. So here's hoping.

The Norwegians have always thought ahead. They have prepared for the day that their oil runs out. Their economy is not reliant on it (unlike the Saudi Arabias, Venezuelas, Irans of the world)

Seemingly, diesel, would appear the only alternative in but six years, since I doubt that either battery technology nor hydrogen fuel cells will have reached the point of commercial viability in such a brief period.

It's really a crime against the world and planet Earth that hydrogen and the fuel cell isn't being developed with the same vigor the US Moon project received. Hydrogen is the key to energy independence and its benefits to all mankind will be amazing.
